HROS ( HR Operating Standards) got a bit release today. We are excited about the additional of global geographies that are based on ISO 3166-1 standards. This allows multinational companies to get important regional insights, as well as allowing single region companies to lock their data into a region, allowing for more accurate benchmarking. Our crazy development team also threw in a few new process metrics as we grow to cover the entire span of measuring and tracking the progress of Requisitions, Positions, Recruiters, Management, and Candidates/Applicants through the Talent Aquisition process. HROS now calculates 350 metrics out of the box and is generating millions of metrics a night for our current customers.
The official release notes are below:
HROS 1.58 release notes
In addition to small bug fixes, HROS 1.58 introduces a backend performance improvement to support multi-million metric calculations for daily metrics. There have also been a few new dimensions and standard metrics added into the standard operating metric calculations available for customers. All Metrics can be configured as a published or non-published metric, giving size controls for smaller customer instances.
Region mapping capabilities:
In order to support Multi-National companies, HROS has expanded to include country and regional mapping. This mapping can be achieved in several ways.
Global Cities with a population >100,000 (based on OpenGeoCode.org data) are mapped to their countries in HROS reference table, allowing us to map requisitions, positions and hires to regions.
Global Countries based on ISO 3166-1 are listed and mapped to Region Groups, allowing us to leverage any available country fields in the requisition, position or hires data.
The following Region Groups are available out of the box in HROS. In addition, custom region groups can be added and super sets of Region Groups (combining two or more region groups) can be defined.
HROS Standard Region Groups:
EEA (Eastern Economic Area)
Details on the specific country mappings to regions are available in other documentation on request.
HR Standard Operating Calcs:
With the 1.58 release, HROS now includes a total of 350 standard operating metric calculations.
All Metrics in the set are available for the total data set, and for the following dimensions:
By Business Unit
By Senior VP (or equivalent executive level)
By Country (defined by ISO 3166-1)
By all of the HROS standard Region Groups
This metric set includes the following calculations:
For each date, the Count of Requisitions:
For each date the count of Positions:
For each date, the count of Hires:
HROS also now calculates Work in Progress (WIP) in a more flexible manner, allowing the customer to designate one of the following starting states for their workflow: Created, Approved, Assigned or Open.
In addition the customer can designate multiple end points, selecting as many of the following as appropriate for their workflow: Filled, Closed, Cancelled
In addition to the standard metrics, HROS also currently includes Open Requisition aging calculated on a daily basis and then binned into ranges of 0-15, 16-30, 31-45, 46-60, 61-75 and 76+ days.
